Privacy policy
Your work is personal. We treat the data behind it that way.
This policy explains what SATpace collects, why we use it, the providers that help us operate, and the choices available to students and families.
Effective July 18, 2026
What we collect
We collect information you provide, information created as you use SATpace, and limited technical information needed to operate and improve the service.
- Account information, such as your name, email address, sign-in provider, and authentication identifiers.
- Learning information, such as answers, response times, question difficulty, skill estimates, session history, streaks, reminders, feedback, and practice-test results.
- Subscription information, such as plan status, renewal timing, and Stripe customer or subscription identifiers. SATpace does not store complete payment-card numbers.
- Website and device information, such as pages viewed, referral or campaign information, browser and device type, approximate location derived from an IP address, and diagnostic logs.
- Messages and preferences you send us, including reminder settings, waitlist entries, support requests, and beta feedback.
How we use information
- Authenticate your account, save progress, and keep the service secure.
- Select questions, adjust difficulty, generate explanations and skill estimates, and build adaptive practice plans.
- Provide test simulations, reminders, streak tracking, support, and requested communications.
- Process subscriptions, confirm access, prevent duplicate claims, and maintain business records.
- Measure reliability, understand which features help students, troubleshoot problems, and improve SATpace.
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms.
When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate SATpace, complete a request, protect the service, or comply with law.
- Vercel for hosting, performance, and site analytics.
- Supabase for account authentication, including email, Google, and Apple sign-in.
- Database and infrastructure providers that store account and learning records.
- Stripe for checkout, subscription management, fraud prevention, and payment processing.
- Postmark for sign-in, reminder, and service emails.
- Google Analytics for aggregated website and campaign measurement.
- Professional advisers, authorities, or a successor organization when reasonably necessary and permitted by law.
Students and age limits
SATpace is designed for high school students and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If local law requires permission from a parent or guardian for a minor to use an online service, that permission is required.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us. We will investigate and delete the information when appropriate.
Retention, security, and your choices
We keep information while an account is active and as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and billing records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods can differ by record type. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
You can change reminder preferences in SATpace and use unsubscribe instructions where available. You can permanently delete your account from Profile, or ask to access, correct, or delete account information by emailing us from the address connected to your account. Account deletion cancels an active SATpace subscription before removing study data. Some records may be retained when required for security, billing, or legal reasons.
Analytics, cookies, and changes
SATpace and its service providers may use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember progress, understand site usage, and measure campaigns. Browser settings can limit some of these technologies, but doing so may affect sign-in or saved progress.
We may update this policy as SATpace changes. We will post the updated policy here, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice when a change is material and the law requires it.
